Laura Hamilton oversees the Worship experience for our weekend services.Born and raised in Sardinia, Ohio, We’re glad to have a hometown girl on our team. Laura holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Cincinnati Christian University. She lives her life by Colossians 3:23 - "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."

Alyssa Woollard serves as our church secretary, though that title does not begin to describe her role in the office. She joined our team in 2010. She is first and foremost madly in love with Jesus and lives in gratitude everyday for the gift of second chances-having learned most of life’s lessons the hard way. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for nearly 20 years, is mother to three spirited teens, and one “Titus” the wonder dog.Alyssa has a doctorates degree from the “School of Hard Knocks” as well as an associate’s degree from Southern State Community College. She stands amazed that God laid hold of her heart and called her into Women’s Ministry in spite of herself, in order that she may share what she has learned about God’s great love. Inspired by stories, all things beautiful, Alyssa and her family reside in Russellville, Ohio in an often messy 1915 American Foursquare that challenges her “restorative nature” daily. She is… a Dreamer, a Reader, a Writer, and a Creative Soul. But mostly, she is HIS.To contact Alyssa you can email her, stop in or call the office Tues. – Thurs. 8am to 3pm.

OUR MISSION We are committed to worshipping God, making Jesus the Lord of our lives, and sharing the truth ofGod’s Word with our community and the world.7 Hills Worth Dying OnAuthenticity We believe that being authentic is one of the best ways to grow spiritually. If we keep people at an arm’s length by wearing masks and hiding our true self, we will fail to see all that God has for us as a whole. We are not so concerned with being relevant as we are with being real. It’s ok to not be ok. Gen 3:7-8; Acts 2:42-45Community We believe that you were never meant to live life alone. Everyone has the divine need to not just been seen but to be known and Jesus is the one who truly knows each of us. He has given us an amazing way to care for each other through the church community. We have community through weekend gatherings, small groups and group events. Genesis 2:18; Psalm 139:13-16; Hebrews 10:24-25Discipleship We believe that Jesus’ command to make disciples is for all Christians not just a selected few. Being a disciple of Jesus is a lifelong process not a one time decision. We not only want to teach others about God’s grace but we want to walk with them through their struggles as well. As we build deeper relationships we become better teachers and better followers of Jesus Christ. This is why we exist; not to isolate ourselves from the World but to propel ourselves into it to affect change. Colossians 1:10; Matthew 28:19Excellence We believe no matter what we do we do it to the best of our ability for God. We serve an excellent God and because of this we want to do great things that please and honor Him. This isn’t some ridiculous attempt at perfection but rather a humble attempt to bring glory to Jesus Christ. So this means that whether we are leading worship, teaching, mowing grass, passing out bulletins, or holding babies in the nursery we do it with excellence. Malachi 1; Colossians 3:17GenerosityGod has given a lot and we believe this is so we can bless others. All that we have whether it’s our time, freedoms, talents/gifts, or money have all been given to us by God for Him to use. We give what we have freely, in order that others might receive the same grace and love we have received and God’s glory be shown locally and globally. Deuteronomy 15:8-10; Matthew 6:1-4; 28:19; Acts 2: 44-47; Acts 11:28-29Prayer We believe in the power of prayer. Sometimes this means rejoicing over an unexplained healing and other times it means the strength to get through the unexplainable. We don’t just ask God to act on our behalf but we thank Him through every situation as well. This means not only praying for those we love but those who have hurt us too. Matthew 6: 5-14; James 5:16WorshipWe believe that worship is not just something we do at our weekend services but rather a lifestyle. We worship through our actions, language, and thoughts. Everything that we do should reflect who God is and what he is doing in us. This doesn’t mean we are perfect but rather we give God the glory when we succeed and when we fail. Nehemiah 8:10; Psalm 9:2; 13:6; 28:7; Hebrews 13:15
