Childcare Help Needed
We are still in need of some volunteers to help provide childcare during our Sunday morning worship times.  All of the materials for activities and Bible stories are provided to fill the time that you spend loving on the kids.  Men, don't let you wives do this alone.  The kids love to see us guys back there sitting on the floor talking and playing right along with them.

Adult Sunday School Study
Are you interested in learning more about how to rely on God's power and guidance in serving Him?  The ABC's of Faith Sunday School class is beginning a new study on the book of Acts and that's exactly what we're going to be talking about.  The book of Acts is all about how the Church began and the history of how the early disciples responded to God's call on their lives.  We would love to have you come join us as we seek the same for our lives.  The class meets in the Jr. Worship room (back by the kitchen...and coffee) at 10:30 each Sunday morning following the worship services.  It is a casual environment with open discussion which you are free to join in on or just listen and follow along.  Previous knowledge about the book of Acts is not necessary.  Please come see me (Gary) if you have any questions and I can get you a copy of our first page of study questions.

Crossing" will also feature a video driven discussion that will
challenge students to consider what God is leading them to do.  This
high school event will be from 7:00 - 9:00 PM every Friday in July.

God's Big Backyard

Our Jr. Worship service on Sunday mornings is beginning a new program called "God's Big Backyard".  This is a VBS program that we are adapting to use over the next few months.  We hope this will be provide a familiar layout since we have had such great success with VBS over the years.  To make all the lessons, crafts, music, activities, food, fun and games happen we will need several volunteers.  If you would like to help in one of these areas once, once a month or on a more weekly basis please see Gary.  I could also use a few people who would like to help coordinate the volunteers, materials and scheduling for some of the activities we will be using.  We will continue to dismiss for Jr. Worship during our offering time on Sunday mornings.

CIY Report
We had a great week out in Anderson Indiana.  Along with the great experience of being together with over 1,000 other believers for a week, the teens were challenged to serve in new ways during the upcoming year.  There desire to follow God's leading will take them down a variety of paths as they seek their individual callings.  Please be praying for them and encourage them every chance you get.
